Here we go!

Alright I'm sitting around the village getting ready for the final game and just thought I'd take a moment to say thank you to everyone! It has been wonderful hearing from everyone (on facebook, comments on the blog, emails, etc). It feels so great to have so much support! The team is ready and excited for this final game..... we can't wait to get it started, so rest your cheering voices and be ready because HERE WE GO!!

Alison, silver is still pretty darn spectacular! After all, how many athletes in the entire world can even say they've played in the Olympics, let alone won a medal?! Your games were so very exciting (perhaps too much at times!), and we wish you all continued success. We thank you and your family for the entertaining blog and photos and Andrea for cracking us up with every charming entry!

Congratulations Alison! I am extremely proud of you and your team. I watched every minute of your games and I was in awe. I thoroughly enjoyed the blog. It was the next best thing to being in Bejing.

Best wishes,
Mr. Monash

nbconline finally put up the medal matches today, that penalty phase is some wicked stuff, grats to Australia winning the Bronze.
Alison and Team USA, you played an incredible game against the Netherland team and really showed great strength in offensive and defensive teamwork! You definately gave it your all and can be very proud of your accomplishment!

Hi... Be proud of youselves.... There are 75 BILLION people in the world who DREAM of an Olympic medal, whether gold, silver or bronze. You guys were wonderful and it was the best Olympics to watch because we knew one of the olympians! Hooray for all of you. You stood on top of the world the other night! We have the game on tape and we caught a glimpse of Brad and Maj cheering from the stands when you scored! It was great. John and Claire Dahl

Hi Alison!
I got up early and watched the game live on the web; hope you didn't mind that I was in my nightgown. I yelled and screamed like I was there.
The blog has been terrific, and I thank Andrea for her writing skills; maybe I'll puree a chicken for dinner tonight, as both Hillary and Lindsay are home!
Go USA! You were fantastic.
